Ninkasi Franchise Expands: New Venue Takes Over Former Hard Rock Café in Lyon

The well-known Ninkasi brand, synonymous with craft beer and vibrant culture, is set to enhance Lyon's Presqu'ile district with the launch of a new establishment.

A Fresh Chapter for a Cherished Space

In a strategic move that will delight the brand's loyal patrons, Ninkasi will take over the premises of the former Hard Rock Café, owned by the CBH group. This transition, scheduled for February 27th, offers a new central hub for the Ninkasi community, in particular to those missing the Gerland location, which closed for renovations last November.

The Union of Shared Ambitions

The inception of this new venture comes from the mutual respect and shared principles between CBH co-founders Thibault Salvat and Mathieu Cochard, and the Ninkasi group. Christophe Fargier, President of Ninkasi, expressed his excitement about this collaboration, which is rooted in a shared vision and values.

A Culinary and Cultural Revolution

The forthcoming Ninkasi establishment promises to be a gastronomic and entertainment haven, boasting an impressive selection of 17 craft beers, alongside Ninkasi's own whiskey, gin, and vodka. Patrons can also look forward to indulging in the brand's famed burgers and immersing themselves in a diverse range of activities that have become synonymous with Ninkasi's success.

The Beat of Lyon's Heart

Fabien Hyvernaud, Director of Ninkasi Musiques, confirms the ambitious plans to make Ninkasi Cordeliers a vital cultural hotspot with local artists and collectives driving a festive agenda. From the inaugural Soul Train Fever night to a roster of diverse events and retained favorites like the Salsa Mondays and the Saturday Latino residency, the new venue is poised to be an essential destination for music lovers.
